Branding, Promotional Video, Social Content, and Stage Design for New Media Conference and Hackathon

My last job working at Hill Holiday was helping out with designing the branding for their annual Tv and Media conference. Then the Sr. Art Director quit his job and the Creative Director got pulled into a huge client job. So I accidentally ended up designing an entire conference. From the social assets used in the Instagram poster, to the lighting choreography on the stage, I got to work on everything.

Because the 2015 conference was featured a hackathon, the visual language of the conference was inspired by what the D.I.Y. spirit of punk looks like in the digital age.

I have since made friends with actual programmers and they have told me this design is so cheesy that it could be considered offensive to the tech community. You live and you learn.
